Weekend Recap: Troy Brown, Snowriders, Rhody Beer Dinner And More

Former Patriot, Troy Brown, had busy week helping promote Narragansett beer throughout Massachusetts. He attended a dinner at the New England Steak & Seafood restaurant in Mendon on Monday night. Fans were able to sit and enjoy dinner, then talk with Troy Brown about all things Gansett and sports. Then on Wednesday he attended the 2011 Business Connect Expo where he helped conclude the day by raffling off some prize winners. Fans were also able to snag an autograph at our booth here.

Narragansett was the official sponsor of the Snowriders Winter Kick-off party this past weekend at Who's On First in Boston. Fans enjoyed a night of live music, DJs, food, Gansett specials, showing of i♥ Snow Productions newest film "Stitched Up Clipped Up", tons of prizes and more. They even hauled in 20 truckloads of snow for a Rail Jam competition. With that said, you know TallBoy had to be there.

Our first ever Rhody Beer Dinner was a big success thanks to the delicious food from Local 121 being paired with some of our award winning beers. We had some classic dishes like clam chowder, cheddar salad and smoked sausages all with a locally inspired twist from Executive Chef Dave Johnson. Brewmaster Sean Larkin along with Gansett's VP, Jim Crooks, were on hand to talk about the beers and pairings. The highlight of the night was the dessert. A spin on RI Coffemilk cabinet, Local121 came up with a porter float. Which was porter with a scoop of housemade coffe-caramel ice cream and a cigarette cookie for dipping. Now you probably wish you were there. Check out all the photos from this and all of our events below.
