St. Peter's Fiesta in downtown Gloucester, MA
The 2009 St. Peter's fiesta kicked-off on Wednesday, June 24 in GLoucester, MA and continues on through Sunday, June 28. 'Gansett will be the official beer of the festivities and be featured throughout downtown Gloucester.
The highlight of the weekend will be the Greasy Pole competition. It's a forty-five foot telephone pole attached to a platform and extended over the water. Competitors take turns running across the pole to grab the red flag extended at the end before falling into the water.

Nashua River Brewers Festival at Riverfront Park in Fitchburg, MA
The 'Gansett Girls will be at the second annual Nashua River Brewers Festival pouring samples for a good cause on Saturday, June 27 from 1 to 7 PM at the Riverfront Park in downtown Fitchburg, MA. Proceeds from this year's fest will benefit the Fitchburg Civic Days charity. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. For tickets and more info visit beersforgood.com.
