Neighbor Day 2011

Get ready for Neighbor Day. This year we are going all out with a great package store promotion, goodwill tour and block party to top it all off. Beginning after Labor Day when you pick up some Gansett at your local package store you'll get a free limited edition coozie to go with it. This is specifically a red Hi Neighbor coozie that fits our signature 16oz tall boy cans and only available in the package stores this time of year. So maybe get extra Gansett and share with your neighbor. Throughout the month Tall Boy, Clammie and the Gansett Girls will be making their rounds at neighborhoods bars throughout New England buying Gansett's for folks and spreading neighborly goodwill to everyone. We'll spend about 20 minutes at each bar and then move on. Make sure you are following @Gansettbeer on twitter to see specifically where we're at and when since times and location may change depending on how the night goes. The De Las Olas truck will be there with their delicious tacos and the Jake's BBQ truck will be whipping up some awesome pulled pork sandwiches to go with your Gansett. Play some cornhole, ladder ball or other games with your kids. If you are growing a gnarly beard or stash make sure you sign up on site for the Gansett Beerd Off: A Rhody Style Beard & Moustache competition brought to you by the Rhode Island Beard & Moustache club. All proceeds from the bar will go to benefit the West Broadway Neighborhood Association. With that said we leave with the famous words of Curt Gowdy, "Hi Neighbor, Have a Gansett!"
