Good morning

I just learned through an ad in Lagniappe newspaper that Narragansett is now available in the Mobile, Alabama area. I remember it well from my time in the Army while stationed in Massachusetts. Gansett was in everyone’s fridge.

A quick survey of my co-workers found no one had even heard of the beer which brings me to my request and offer.

United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile holds its premier fundraiser each year featuring 20 restaurants/caterers, local craft and other beer along with a variety of spirts. While it is short notice, I would like to invite Narragansett to be one of those featured beers. Guests get to sample the various foods, wines, beers and spirits. We provide a 9 oz. beer or wine glass to all attendees for sampling.

There is no charge to participate. The cost of your product is considered donation enough and is tax deductible. The attachments will offer more information.

All proceeds from this event benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile (UCP), one of Mobile’s oldest and most respected charities. Throughout south and central Alabama, children and adults with a variety of disabilities turn to UCP for assistance. The agency is able to provide services to over 700 families each month through programs such as Early Intervention, Preschool, therapy, Camp SMILE, an Adult Day Program and Supported Employment.

If you can provide me with the contact information, I would be glad to contact your local representative, or he/she can contact me, to discuss this opportunity for Narragansetts to gain some expose in this market with people who are traditionally who like to dine out.

Even though the event is near, there is still time to get Narragansett beer listing in much of our promotional materials and to make sure a table is provided for sampling. If a representative is unable to come to pour the samples, we have volunteers that can do that for you. We do have a non-profit liquor license for th3 event as well.

We can also make arrangements to pick the product up from your distributor, Gulf Distributing.

Thank you for your prompt reply and for assisting us to serve over 700 families in south Alabama each month.

I can’t wait. I’ve had it before in CT and have been looking forward to getting it at home.
