In December of 1890, the six original founders of the Narragansett Brewery brewed the first batch of Narragansett Lager Beer. The Lager went on to be the bestselling beer in New England from the 1930s to the 1970s, and the official beer of the Boston Red Sox from 1944-1975. What better way to celebrate National Lager Day on December 10th than with the beer that started it all. So today, we encourage you to raise a ’Gansett with us as we salute our famous Lager! Visit your favorite pub or package store and enjoy some ’Gansett today. Hi Neighbor, Have a ’Gansett! Here’s more on this brew.
