Fest Is Back For Fall

Narragansett celebrates the return of fall with our seasonal craft brew, Fest. Available at bars and package stores where 'Gansett is sold in 16oz tall boy cans and draft. Look for the bright orange can or ask your retailer today. We hate to see summer go, but the changing of the seasons is just so exciting. Especially autumn in New England. The weather’s still nice and there’s lots to do. Enjoy apple picking, pumpkin carving, festivals and more this season. So roll out the barrel and have another beer because the Narragansett Fest is here.

Roll out the Barrel: 5.5% Alcohol by Volume and 22 IBUs. This traditional German Oktoberfest style beer is brewed with the highest quality German malt & hops. Available during the fall season on tap and in 16oz Cans.

Quality Supreme: The Fest is craft brewed in small batches at North American Brewery in Rochester, NY under the supervision of the award winning brewmaster, Sean Larkin from Trinity Brewhouse and Revival Brewing. Vienna, Pilsner, Light and Dark Munich malts make up the backbone of this beast, and Northern Brewer & Tettnanger hops are added to give it a crisp but subtle hop flavor. Winner of the silver medal in the 2010 World Beer Championship. Winner of the gold medal in the Oktoberfest category at the 15th annual Great International Beer & Cider Competition in Providence, RI 2011. Winner of the silver medal in the 2011 World Beer Championships.

Taste & Enjoy: Gansett Fest is a great example of a traditional amber-brown German Oktoberfest style beer. It is perfectly balanced with four varieties of malts and two styles of hops. This is an extremely easy drinking autumn seasonal beer, but one you will want to savor as the rich malt profile complements the crisp, but not overpowering, hop flavor perfectly.

The History: The Narragansett Brewery will always be known as the home to thousands of colorful stories over the course of its incredible history. At least a small truckload of those stories revolve around the Oktoberfest celebrations that would take place on the brewery grounds every fall. Whether it was a slightly out-of-control party on the roof, assorted parking disasters, or just plain old good times eating bratwurst and drinking Gansett Oktoberfest Beer in green velour tyrolean hats & lederhosen, the good times always rolled. And the statue of King Gambrinus, the Patron Saint of Beer, always kept a watchful eye on the festivities at the brewery. So it is fitting that his image graces the label of Gansett Fest as a tribute to both our brewing heritage and the Oktoberfest celebrations of days gone by
