Tax day is today. And Narragansett beer has a case refund for you to help you relieve some of the stress. You just have to be one of the first 10 people to answer the three following trivia questions correctly. Let's test your GIQ!
1.) Seriously, what does GIQ stand for?
2.) Narragansett beer was the official sponsor of Red Sox Baseball for over 30 years. What were those exact years?
3.) In1969 to 1971, Narragansett sponsored a series of concerts in Rhode Island put on by famous rock promoter Skip Chernov. Chicago was even one of the acts. What was the name of that live music series?
Congratulations to Peter Fahey, Chris Fleming, Brandon Davis, Greg Goodwin, David Belanger, Erin Hawkes, Owen Bligh, Mike Joyal, Mike Moriarty and David Piehl for being the first 10 to answer correctly!
Answers:
1.) Giant Imperial Quart (A really big bottle of beer)
2.) 1944 to 1975 (Over 30 years)
3.) Narragansett Tribal Rock Series or Festivals (Tribal Rock was the key there)

I am one of the winners and no one has contacted me on when I will be recieving my free case. Will someone please respond.
Posters would be great. Please post if anyone does have one or know of where we can see a photo of one. All we have is this picture of the band Chicago wearing the shirt. They used “Loose Lips Sink Ships” for them.
Thanks,
Gansett!
Does anybody have any of the Posters from the Gansett Tribal Rockfest series
According to your own website:
http://www.narragansettbeer.com/2009/07/new-england-heritage-gansett-gowdy-the-sox
“Narragansett was the beer of the Boston Braves starting in 1944 and the Red Sox in 1946”
So 1944 is not the right answer for Red Sox sponsorship.
The Boston Braves shound not be counted as you asked for the Redsox.
