Another diamond found in the rough. The Gansett legend continues to grow. Check out this classic 1969 poster. Gansett had their own pro bowling tournament sponsorship "The Hi Neighbor Five Star PBA Open" at Cranston Bowl in August 7-10. The poster includes the image of Dick Weber, the original bowling superstar, and also includes Tommy Tuttle, Wayne Zahn and Dick Ritger. This is now hanging at the Alley Katz Bowling Center & Cleats Sports Club in Westerly, RI. Stop for a Gansett and bowl a string or two.
