An instant classic from Irving Berlin not just for New England, but everywhere. It may not have been filmed in Vermont, but we love that it references the great Pine Tree state to our north. And who doesn't love the velvety voices of Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen singing the hopes for snow in Vermont. What do you know, when they get there the temp is 50 and there's no snow. Reminds us of Christmas today. Just yesterday it reached 60. Sadly though we looked it up. There is no Columbia Inn or Pine Tree, VT. But we can still hope for snow by watching this great New England classic from 1954.
