Every Fall thousands of thirsty beer fans piled in the Rhode Island Convention Center and sample hundreds for craft beers from all over. The Great International Beer Festival is more than just a festival. It’s part of a large competition where hundreds of craft beers are sampled by professional judges and awarded medals. In the past, Narragansett has taken home several medals from this prestigious competition. Last year we took home a gold for Lager again in the Lager category, bronze for our Light in the Light Lager category, and silver for our Porter in the Robust Porter category. Excited to see what will happen this year. We’ll be entering all of our brews again including the newest craft offering, Bohemian Pils. The competition is closed to the public, but you are welcome to attend the festival on Saturday. The festival is where you can sample and learn more about the award winning craft beers. We’ll be specifically pouring our new Bohemian Pils on draft along with Lager, Fest and Bock. There are two shows with the first from 1 to 4:30pm and the second from 6:30 to 10pm. Bock is available now through March and we are making this announcement today. CMS is due to arrive in mid-December. Porter will most likely come back in our 22oz Private Stock series sometime around March 2014. Thanks for understanding and the support.

Why aren’t you offering the Naragansett Winter Porter in New England this year? It’s a New England beer!

Bock is available now through March and we are making this announcement today. CMS is due to arrive in mid-December.
