Food & Wine Managazine recently brought together a panel to taste the 20 top-selling North American lagers, and see which would truly be crowned best. Each were evaluated sight unseen via Solo cups — for authenticity — then rated on a scale of 1 to 5 for flavor, finish, and overall enjoyability.
The results are in and Narragansett Beer finished 4th in Food & Wine's rankings, ahead of traditional staples like Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors light, Corona, and Miller Light! 'Gansett's great taste combined with its best in class affordability also earned itself the title of "Best Drive Bar Beer"!
