During our recent trip to The Lorimer Workshop where we meet David Ellison, he introduced us to one of his part-time employees, Samantha Zacks.
After being laid off from her position in corperate finance, Samantha made the brave decision to leave her house and her career to start fully enjoying life and focus on doing what she truly loves. Samantha rents a small office attached to the woodworking shop where, when not working with David and his team, she focuses on creating handmade and embroidered wears. From shower caps to bowties to handkerchiefs, each pattern and style is custom made with the personality and style of the customer in mind.
The customer relationship is everything to Samantha. She refers to it as the “Cycle of Giving”, where she promises to give all her heart into each piece for the customer, and in-turn the customer is giving her their trust and business. For this, Gilded Rose is Made On Honor for sure.
