Vintage: 1914 Gansett Ad For The Brewery Worker's Union Ball

Check out this nice full page ad on the inside front cover of the program for the 18th Annual Grand Ball of the Brewery Worker's Union local 114 Providence, RI. This was before prohibition and notice Narragansett brewed lager, ale and porter. All 3 styles we currently brew today. Must have been quite the party where some elegant dancing and intriguing conversation occurred. This booklet actual came to us from our merchandiser, Ted, who's great uncle was an officer and chairman in this union. Thanks Ted!

Hi Steve,
This book belongs to one of our employees who’s great uncle was president of the Brewery Workers Union Local 114 Providence at the time. That is an Eagle ad next to Gansett. But there isn’t one for Molters or Cranston Brew, but there is one for Hanley’s Peerless Ale. A very interesting piece. We’ll scan those and send to you.
Thanks,
Gansett

Nice piece….looks like a great Eagle Brewing Co ad on the opposite page. Can you email me a scan of it and any other RI ads in the book? Was there a Molters or Cranston Brew Co? Thanks, Steve
