We missed a lot of this year’s ads going to the fridge and grabbing another Gansett, but after reading Bob Garfield’s review of this year’s Super Bowl ads, maybe we should have run this 'Gansett sports feature favorite from the '60s:
Bob writes that he is now “totally pro-TiVo”, and "Bud Light’s new 'Here We Go' campaign should be named 'Here We Stall'". He called the Emerald Nuts ad "a tortured ripoff of the Gob character on 'Arrested Development,'" and the Bud ads were "just unfathomably unsurprising, unimaginative, unfunny." Whatever happened to the great, humorous ads of the past?
