BIO: Flapper, tapper, and Gal about town, Kristen Minsky is a neo-vaudevillian thru-and-thru. She has performed solo or as part of an ensemble from coast to coast as a dancer, vocalist, and above all else, as an entertainer. Stay tuned...she will knock you dead with her triple threat talent!
Kristen Minsky is one half of NY's "tap sensations" The Minsky Sisters, is the creative director of Providence's TropiGals, "the dames of which dreams are made", and is also the creator of the traveling club Chifferobe.
Notable clubs and venues that Minsky has performed at include LA's The Cicada Club and Monday Night Tease, New York's Historic Player's Club, Dances of Vice, and The Salon, Boston's Boardwalk Empire Premier Party 2011, Providence's Performing Arts Center and Chifferobe. She has been pictured in The New York Times, Illustrated in The New Yorker Magazine, interviewed and featured as a writer in Zelda Magazine, and was awarded "best burlesque act" as The Minsky Sisters in 2009 and 2010 by Loungerati. In 2011, she also had the great honor of being recognized as one of Providence's "10 to Watch" by the Providence Media Group.
