"Halloween has long been a live-music holiday, an extra chance to get weird, which means we’ll be getting in on the action. Since the actual holiday falls on a Monday (I know how you working people get), we’ll be throwing down on Saturday (October 29) at the Magic Room with our great friends and kickass party starters Gentlemen Hall. Also on the bill are mystical dance-rock queen Casey Desmond, indie pump-ups Herra Terra, and DJ Dark and Stormy. (In an unrelated note, that’s my new favorite drink.) The cover is only $5, an absolute steal on any weekend, especially for a bill that’s got the goods. You’ve got to think this one will sell out, so get there early, plus the earlier you get there, the more beer you can have. Funny how that works.
