Who needs Punxsutawney Phil? Real New Englanders look to Riverside Randy for hope of an early Sparing.
Riverside Randy is a Quahog that was rescued from the icy cold Providence River. Since 1997, Randy has been predicting the length of the winter season. Randy's predictions have been correct 17.3% of the time, placing him 4% higher than that of local weather persons, and 20.7% lower than that of his rodent counter part Punxsutawney Phil.
Randy's hobby's include, but are not limited to- NOT being stuffed, being eaten raw, and golf.
