Mother’s Day Cocktails

Narragansett is the official beer of Cocktail Wars held each Sunday at the Woodward At Ames in Boston. We had the honor of judging on April 26. The top three cocktails all contained some Narragansett beer so we decided to share them with you. Just in time for Mother’s Day too. Maybe try these with your Sunday Brunch. David L Delaney Jr – The Citizen (Worcester)
“Kathys Cocktail”.

Muddle 2-3 pieces of guava pineapple with .75 oz Simple Syrup and .5 oz fresh lemon juice.

1 oz. Aperol
1 oz. Plymouth Gin
.5 oz. Dry Vermouth
1 egg white

Dry shake for 15 seconds.
Add ice and shake again for 30 seconds.
Double strain over ice into Collins glass, and top with Narragansett.

Tony Makayev – Citizen Public House & Oyster Bar (Boston)
“Dissertation Defense”

-Muddled Guava
-1 1/2 oz Green Chartreuse
-1 oz Aperol
-1/2 fresh lemon juice
Egg white, in a collins glass
topped with Narraganset
and Ango Bitters for garnish.

Chad Arnholt – Woodward @ Ames Hotel (Boston)
“R.I. Lactard Fizzle”

2 oz ‘Gansett
.5 oz Smith and Cross Rum
1 oz Plymouth
.5 oz Benedictine
.5 oz Maple Syrup
.5 oz Coco Lopez
.75 oz Seville Orange Juice
1d Allspice Dram
2d Scrappys Cardamom Bitters
