Anchor Bend Glassworks

New Englanders Timothy Underwood, Justin Tarducci, and Michael Richardson all share an expertise and passion for a unique art form: the art of glassblowing. Established in 2003, their collaborative business, Anchor Bend Glassworks, crafts an incomparable selection of products ranging from ornaments and sculptures to tableware and even custom art. During our visit to their workshop in North Kingstown, RI, they were making glass anchors as a gift&;for Naval War College’s graduating class.

The three artists&;agree that the indispensable key to their business is working together as a team. The collaboration of their varying skills, experiences, and backgrounds results in the perfection of each piece of art they produce. While it is often a tiresome and laborious art, they share a genuine love for what they do and it makes all the difference.

Beyond extraordinary creativity, energy, and skill, ABG dedicates itself to helping the community and striving for complete customer satisfaction. Their willingness and ability to create such a wide variety of custom art and their inherent desire to give back is a testament to why they are Made On Honor. They have become a cornerstone in the heart of Rhode Island’s&;arts community and, as they explain it, their work is a “labor of love” with the hope that their customers will find something that they can cherish and benefit from.
