speakeasy

We hope you’ll join us for the next Speakeasy on Saturday, January 23rd at The 201 in Providence. It's their Winter Blues Ball with some fabulous winter themed entertainment. Returning act Tempest, whose Nouveau Noir belly dance will have you shivering with excitement. Also providing chills and thrills will be the fabulous Bettysioux Tailor treating us to an incredible burlesque performance. The lovely Lulu Locks of Providence Pin-Up returns as the host, and Into the Wardrobe will be vending some hand picked vintage selections to complete your look. Their staff photographers will make sure to capture you in your finest moments, and of course Narragansett Beer will be giving away merchandise all night. Also joining for the first time will be the immensely talented Route .44, whose many accolades include Motif Magazine Band of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Female Vocalist as well as Providence Phoenix Best Local Act, Best Female Vocalist, and Best Local Album. Needless to say, these folks are incredible, and their blue-infused melodies are sure to get everyone on their feet. This is an event not to be missed, so come beat the winter blues the way it was originally done at Speakeasy!

Metal vs. Punk

What local show doesn't have Narragansett beer? Just check out the above flier for another sick show at the Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge, MA. With both metal and punk bands rocking the stage, get out this Saturday for a night that promises to be filled with mayhem and plenty of 'Gansett tall boys.

Jay Allen Release Party Flyer_Page_1

Live at the Baseball Tavern in Boston this Saturday is the Jay Allen and The Archriminals release show. Also playing are The Dirty Truckers, Lenny Lashley and Friends and many more. What more can we say? This sounds like an awesome show. With the Baseball Tavern being stocked with plenty of cold Gansetts, go watch some music and drink your part.
