One of our favorite blues bands, The Silks, are making a new record and they want all of their fans to experience the recording with them. So they are throwing a killer show this Saturday at the studio. How can you say no to that. Here are the details from their official release:
So as many of you probably know, we have a very big event coming up at Machines With Magnets on March 10, 2012 starting at 8pm. We have been promising an album for awhile now, and we are beyond thrilled to be recording it at Machines With Magnets. These guys have recorded bands like Deer Tick, Brown Bird, Battles, Debo Band (to name a few) and always deliver top-notch stuff. Even cooler, they are allowing us to play a killer show at their recording space to raise the money needed to make this album! That is where you all come in! All proceeds from that night will go towards us making our album. Our awesome friends Atlantic Thrills will be joining us followed by Ty Jesso's SOUL POWER! Too much fun. So help out...because we really really want to make this thing and share it with you.
