Weekend Recap: RWU Miss Hi Neighbor Pageant

Thursday nights at the Bean in Bristol are off the hook. That's because it's college night for Roger Williams University and each week they hold a different event. With the Gansett pitcher special, we felt this was the perfect place to run our Miss Hi Neighbor pageant. The Judge Roy Bean's Saloon has a great history with the East Bay of Rhode Island and RWU students know it's the place to be on a Thursday night. They lined up out the door to see the spectacle of 10 girls competing for the crown. Of course in the end there is only one. So congratulations to Sarah Lloyd for being crowned Miss Hi Neighbor for Roger Williams University. Everyone had a fantastic time. The crowd was wild and everyone was cheering and chanting for the contestants. All 10 girls were fabulous and the judges had one tough decision on their hands. Armed with a Gansett light in her hand and dressed to impress, Sarah answered all questions correctly and represented both her school and Narragansett beer the best. The above video says it all and below is a photo gallery from the evening. Sarah wins 12 cases of Narragansett beer and a photo shoot from Providencepinup.com which will be on our site this year. And not to mention bragging rights. We can't thank everyone enough that was a part of this. The contestants, judges, Ross and the rest of the staff at the Bean and of course everyone who came out. We couldn't have done it without you and it was such a good time.
