This weekend is The Blessing Of The Fleet in Provincetown, MA. It just so happens to coincide with the Providence Portuguese Festival which takes place all weekend from June 24th to the 27th. Aside from the Blessing there are a ton of other events going on. With the Provincetown locals embracing the Portuguese culture, there are several restaurants that offer some of the finest Portuguese cuisine this far from Fall River. After some kale soup and a cacoila sandwich, pop into either the Old Colony Tap, Squeling Pig or Good Times Pub for a Gansett. Head to ProvincetownPortugueseFestival.com for a complete list of this weekend's events.

The Blessing of the Fleet is part of the Portuguese Festival. The entire event opens on Thursday and ends with the Blessing Of The Fleet on Sunday.. The 4 day celebration of Provincetown’s Portuguese Heritage is always held during the last weekend in June that includes the last Sunday of the month.
