This Weekend: Brewfests And Big Can Art Slam
Nashua Rivers Brewers Festival this Saturday, June 30th from 2-8pm at Riverfront Park in Fitchburg. ‘Beers for Good’ formed early in 2008 when a few of us were having a beer together and said to ourselves “we’ve been to some great brewers festivals in the last year. Why don’t we do one for some local charities here in Fitchburg.” Although we’ve had help from numerous family and friends (and we thank them all) our group consists of: Robin Streb, Liz Murphy, David Streb, and Trevor Bonilla. Our mission is three fold; to raise money for a good cause; to educate the public about the great variety of craft beers in this region; and to attract people to the city of Fitchburg. We do this by producing high quality, beer-centric events in Fitchburg that are both entertaining and showcase the great entertainment and recreation venues the city of Fitchburg has to offer.
Breweries from across New England will gather on Saturday, June 30th to tap into their exceptional brews at the 8th annual New England Brewfest!
Join us at the Lincoln Village Shops in the heart of the White Mountains, Lincoln, NH to sample and learn about these delicious craft brews. While you’re tasting, enjoy live entertainment, craft beer education programs, great food and exhibits offering brew paraphernalia and souvenirs.
This Sunday, WORSHIP Skateboards is hosting the Big Can Art Slam at Black Bear Saloon in Hartford. All talented artists are welcome. The best design in show will be featured on a WORSHIP deck. All artists entered will receive a Gansett prize pack. 2nd and 3rd place designs will win gift cards to a local art store. See you there.
