New England Heritage: Hampton Beach

Home to the World Sand Castle Championships, Hampton Beach is known as New Hampshire’s summer playground. White sand and clean water has attracted tourists here for decades. With a vibrant nightlife, hundreds enjoy live entertainment almost every night at Wally’s and the Casino. Despite what you might think, the surfing is actually quite good. Aside from catching some rays and swimming, hundred of locals come here to surf. There’s plenty of local shops offering unique knick-knacks to take home and salt-water taffy to enjoy. Of course there are tons of eateries with delicious fresh seafood to munch on. This summer you can enjoy a Gansett at Stacey Janes, Tuna Striker, Wallys, La Becque Rougue, Millies Tavern, 401 Tavern, North Beach and Boardwalk Cafe.
