It’s that time of year again. We’re throwing a holly jolly Holiday party the only way we know. Rhody Style. With live music, prizes from Anarchy Eyewear, Gansett Girls, Gansett Gear, the BRU crew, and tons of Gansett beers to enjoy. So mark your calendar now for Dec 16 at The Ruins Live at the Colosseum in Providence. Located at 180 Pine Street downtown. Doors at 8pm and it’s only $5 to get in. We know the flier says 7pm for doors, but the show has been pushed back due to a later curfew. Here are the bands:
11:45 - The Blue Album (Weezer tribute)
10:45 - The Color & The Shape (Foo Fighters tribute playing this ’97 classic in it’s entirety)
9 - Miss Wensday & The Cotillions and a special cabaret apperance from Providence Pinup and the Gansett Girls in the 2012 calendar immediately following Miss Wensday's set.
Pick up your 2012 calendar at leading package stores and bring it with you. Meet the girls in the calendar and have them sign it.
Just because the Pats are away in Denver this Sunday, doesn't mean you can't go to Foxboro and have some fun. The Gansett Girls will be at CBS Scene at 4:15 for this big game. And this is going to be good because the last time they were supposed to be there the whole town was out of power thanks to that huge Halloween snowstorm. You don't have to worry about shopping for Christmas presents either. The girls will be raffling off some cool Gansett Gear. And if you must, then CBS Scene is located at Patriot Place with tons of great stores to hit before the game. Like you would really want to go shopping over watching the Patriots beat the Broncos anyway. GO PATS!
