Clam Shack Of The Week: Narragansett Cafe

Nestled on Narragansett Ave overlooking Narragansett bay in the quiet town of Jamestown, RI sits the Narragansett Cafe. You must be asking yourself, "How was this not the first Clam Shack!" Well this is long overdue, but here is our latest and great clam shack, the Gansett! They recently renovated the outside and we have to say it looks great. Gives it an old-school rustic pub feel to the street. Inside is some cold Narragansett lager beer poured from a vintage tap and just waiting at your very own bar-stool with some good conversation to be had with the locals. If you're not from around here, they'll make you feel right at home. Just order up one of the delicious stuffies or any one of their fresh seafood items off their menu. Then stick around for live music including Steve Smith & The Nakeds with no cover charge ever. Bring some friends to play shuffle board too. Yes, this is the way it should be. Fresh clams, cold Gansetts, live music and good hours ahead. Visit NarragansettCafe.com for more or just stop by and say, "Hi Neighbor, Have a 'Gansett!" Narragansett Cafe, 25 Narragansett Ave., Jamestown, RI (401) 423-2150.
