Weekend Recap: Block Island, Andrea Hotel, Georges And KC’s Pub
Narragansett beer headed out to Block Island for one of the best weekends of the Summer. The Gansett Girls had a blast. They first hit The Oar on Sunday for some post Fourth of July parade fun. They played our bag-toss game for prizes and poured Gansett drafts for everyone. There’s a great view of all the boats docked from the Oar’s lawn. So it’s a great place to be on a hot and sunny afternoon like that. Pictured above is one of our Facebook fans Jessica who also had a great time celebrating Independence Day with us. Later that night we kept the party going and headed to the Yellow Kittens to see Steve Smith and the Nakeds. They rock the Kittens just about every year and it never gets old. Good tunes + good brews = the perfect Fourth of July celebration. Below are some more photos from Block Island.
Not everyone made it out to Block Island. But not to worry, the mainland in Rhode Island is home to some of the best beaches in all of New England. People come from all over just to visit. With that comes some of the best beach bars and clam shacks. On Saturday afternoon the Gansett Girls headed to Misquamicut Beach in Westerly for a promo at the Andrea Hotel. Lots of folks were relaxing outside on the beach enjoying ice cold Gansett tall boys. So the girls had prizes for people and really got the weekend off to a great start. Then on Sunday they hit Georges of Galilee for their Fourth Of July celebration out on their deck. Buckets specials of Gansett were going on while the girls had more Gansett Gear for everyone. It’s the best way to spend the day if you didn’t make the ferry. Here are some photos from both promos.
It was Gansett Night on Friday at K.C.’s Pub in Guilford, CT. So the Gansett Girls went down with plenty of cool Gansett Gear for everyone. There was a $2 lager pint special so everyone was eager to drink their part and help us build a new brewery. All in all it was great night. Below are some photos.
