This Weekend: Play It Loud, Marcy Playground, And Tailgating At Gillette Stadium

Play It Loud 11x17

Punk Rock at a sports bars near Fenway Park? Who would of thought? But this Saturday there won’t be any sports on the tube at the Baseball Tavern in Boston. That’s right…punk is taking over the world one bar at a time and it starts here. Fueled by Narragansett beer, the stylings of Resistance 77 hailing from England will be rocking during the day. The mayhem continues throughout the night with Sword & Spear from NYC. Other acts include Pressure 28 from England, Hard Times from France and several more. The kick off party is tonight at All Asia in Cambridge, MA. So come bang your head, play it fast and PLAY IT LOUD!

If punks not your thing, then you can chill to the sweet sounds of Marcy Playground Saturday night at the Regent Theater in Arlington, MA. Of course anyone old enough to drink ‘Gansett remembers their hit Sex And Candy with that trippy video. But they didn’t stop there. Marcy Playground has continued to write great music and tour the world. Supporting acts include The Energy, Dave Crespo & The After-Party, and Cars On Mars. Marcy Playground’s newest record, Leaving Wonderland, is available in stores and online. Visit them at MarcyPlayground.com.

The ‘Gansett team will be at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA for this Sunday’s big game against the Falcons. Make sure you’re drinking your part because Clammie, Tall Boy, and the ‘Gansett Girls will be out checking coolers. If you are, then you will be rewarded. You have to tailgate a New England Patriots game with Our Own New England Beer. If you’re not drinking Narragansett beer,  you’re not from New England! We hope to see you there.
