The Word X Word Festival is happening all this week in the wonderful Berkshires (Pittsfield to be exact). Things kicked off Monday night and Narragansett was present, supplying our thirst quenching snacks to the audience and performers. Performances included some hilarious poetry from NYC native Taylor Mali, Townes Van Zandt inspired songwriting from David Dondero, and a night ending session from Providences own The Low Anthem, who recently released their latest album “Oh My God, Charlie Darwin” on Nonesuch Records. The album has garnered rave reviews from the likes of Rolling Stone, Mojo Magazine, and Uncut. The band is currently on a tour of the US with the likes of Surprise Me Mr. Davis and Ray Lamontagne before heading back to the UK.

The Word X Word Festival will wrap up this Saturday night. Be sure not to miss any of the other wonderful acts, including Jesse Harris, Mieka Pauley, Michelle Lewis, Ari Hest, among others.
