Clam Shack Of The Week: George's of Galilee

Overlooking the Block Island Sound in the picturesque fishing port of Galilee, George's of Galilee Waterfront Seafood Restaurant has been serving generations of families its award winning signature dishes since 1948. They offer a wide selection of fresh local seafood, a new sushi menu, lobster specials...and don’t forget to try their award winning stuffies (stuffed quahogs), which are a RI tradition. They have five different dining rooms on two floors, al fresco dining, and our takeout window, all with spectacular waterfront views. Grab a 'Gansett and listen to live music every Sunday afternoon.

While we're on the subject of clams, there was a big story this week about how the starfish population is soaring in local waters. Starfish are big clam eaters, which has fishermen concerned. As the official beer of the clam, we're sincerely hoping this is much ado about nothing.
