Former Rhode Island Governor, J. Joseph Garrahy passed away late yesterday at 81. Some of you may not know that he was a Narragansett Goodwill Man before his days in office. Today we remember him and honor the great things he accomplished while in office.

Remember Rocky Point Park in Warwick Neck? It was one of New England’s best amusement parks and a premium vacation spot. Everyone still remembers the clam cakes and chowder in the Shore Dinner Hall.
