What Cheer Records + Vintage

What Cheer Records + Vintage is one of PVD’s well loved gems. Located on the East Side, upstairs on the corner of Thayer and Angell, What Cheer has been dishing up vintage vinyl, antiques, and other collectibles for over 17 years. In 1998, Chris and Jennifer Daltry started their What Cheer journey as a booth in the legendary This + That Shop that used to be located on Wickenden Street. They then opened their own shop on S. Angell Street in 1999 where they remained for over 12 years. In 2012, they moved just down the street to their current and awesome location on the corner of Thayer and Angell.

Strolling through What Cheer Records + Vintage, you are likely to find the coolest vintage records you’ve ever seen, that&;1970’s&;Playboy you’ve been searching for, information on the latest PVD bands, and the smiling faces of Providence’s locals. What Cheer Records + Vintage is open&;daily. Stop by to buy, sell, or trade some vintage goodies and enjoy all of the oddities that Chris and Jennifer have collected over the years.

Chris and Jennifer also run Rock and Roll Yard Sale- Pop-Up, DIY Music and Craft Sales held at different locations in Providence RI, Pawtucket RI, and Somerville, MA. These awesome events, that ‘Gansett has been thrilled to be a part of, have been organized by Chris and Jennifer for over 10 Years.

Between What Cheer Records + Vintage and Rock and Roll Yard Sale, Chris and Jennifer are definitely #MadeOnHonor. Check out the video to learn more!
