Narragansett Summer Running Festival

Announcing the newest and most exciting race addition to the South Shore running scene! The Narragansett Summer Running Festival will host a 5k, 10k & Half Marathon at Stonehill College in Easton, MA on Sunday, July 21, 2013!

This race and running festival is a joint effort between the folks at Narragansett Beer Co. of Providence, RI and Endurance Fitness Systems of Easton, MA. Managed with the support of Northeast Race Management, we are on a mission to host one of the most exciting running events in the Boston/Providence area! The Narragansett Summer Running Festival seeks to combine an awesome race, great beer, music, vendors and food to create the perfect summer day for any runner. Awards and Age Divisions
Age divisions are as follows:
0-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
5k: Official Festival Pint Glasses for the top 2 runners in each age division. 9:30am start time.
10k: Official Festival Pint Glasses for the top 2 runners in each age division. 9:00 am start time.
Half Marathon: Finishers medal for all half marathon finishers, as well as Official Festival Pint Glasses for the top 2 runners in each age division. 8:30am start time.

Post-Race Festival 8:30am-1pm
Immediately following all races there is a post-race festival hosted by Narragansett Beer! One beer for all runners in the beer garden is included in registration! Hot dogs and hamburgers will be for sale! Entertainment by local bands will be provided, as well as vendor tents by event sponsors. Bring the entire family, come for the race, stay for the music and the BBQ.

Course Support & Aid Stations
5k: One aid station serving water at roughly the 1.5 mile marker.
10k: Three aid stations serving water at roughly the 1.5, 3.1 and 4.6 mile markers.
Half Marathon: There will be four aid stations throughout the 13.1 miles, approximately every 3 miles.
Aid station details will be announced shortly as course is finalized, but plan on water, sports drink and energy gels available on course.
