Travel + Leisure's Best Beer Cities In America

In a readers poll from Travel + Leisure magazine, America's 20 best beer cities were announced. Providence, Boston and Portland Maine all made the top 10! Philly came in at #14 too. Four of our favorite places to enjoy a 'Gansett. Hi Neighbor! Here's what they had to say about our hometown. "If the Rhode Island capital didn’t already have a good microbrew scene, it would need to develop one’to go with its perfect-with-beer, high-ranking local pizza and burgers. Some highlights: Revival, a new brewery from the brewmaster at renowned Trinity Brewhouse, and Foolproof Brewing, whose Backyahd pale ale plays off the locals’ Yankee-style accent. Sitting in a neighborhood brewpub, of course, also gives you the chance to do some excellent people-watching."
