Event Recap: Metal Fest, Truck Stop, Beer Fest And More
It was one of the most historic weeks in Boston history since the Tea Party. Luckily on Friday night the Marathon bomber was in custody. 'Gansett was a part of a number events this weekend too. The Red Sox held a special memorial opening with Neil Diamond singing and David Ortiz's famous speech. Fans can now enjoy a 'Gansett draft at Fenway Park or a can from the hawkers. The 15th annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival went down. There's nothing more healing than 4 nights full of headbanging and moshing. Anthrax, Every Time I Die, Within The Ruins, Opeth, Katatonia, Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicidal Tendencies, and Job For A Cowboy were among the headliners. Friday night started the weekend long Eat, Drink RI Festival with the Truck Stop. 'Gansett and Revival were the beers of choice at this benefit for the RI Community Food Bank. A great pair with the several local food trucks providing tasty eats for everyone. Then on Saturday 'Gansett was pouring at the Great International Spring Beer Festival. Everyone enjoyed craft brewed Cream Ale and Summer Ale on tap. Here's some photos from these and more. [gallery link="file" order="DESC" columns="5"]
