The Back Eddy in Westport held their annual striped bass and blue fishing tournament over Columbus Day weekend. The Gansett Girls were there for the after-party and gave Gansett Gear prizes to the winners. Some of the best fishing is this time of year. It was great to be at the Back Eddy for this.
Autumn is a great season and with it comes several fun festivals celebrating the harvest season and beer. Just about any brewfest you attend in New England and New York this season, you'll find a cold Gansett waiting at one of the booths. Sometimes TallBoy and Clammie will make an appearance. We recently were at the Salem Harvest Fest, Exeter Powderkeg Beer & Chili Festival, and of course Woonsocket's own Autumnfest. TallBoy even rode the Pharaoh's Fury ride at Autumnfest.
It's also a glorious time of the year to have a wedding. This lovely couple were recently married at the Towers in Narragansett. The groom contacted us in June to secure Father's Day ties for him and his groomsmen. He thought the black skinny design would go perfect with their tuxes. Lookin' sharp, gents!
