The 2nd Annual Newport Wine Fest was held this past weekend at the beautiful Newport Yachting Center. Not only did Narragansett have a booth pouring delicious samples to the thirsty fans, but we sponsored the 2011 Oyster Cup Challenge along with Matunuck Oyster Bar. What's better than Rhody Oysters with Rhody's Beer? It took place on Sunday and ended the weekend just perfectly. They also included a beer shuck-off in which the contestant to open a full case of Narragansett light bottles first won. The best part was everyone got to drink those open bottles after.
