First annual JP Music Festival announces final line-up of artists to perform on Saturday, August 20th at Pinebank Field
Music styles to range from Afro-beat, Americana, Blues, Folk, Hip Hop, Indie Rock, Jazz, Pop, and Rock & Roll
The JP Music Festival ( http://jpmusicfestival.com ) will be held for free on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 1-7 PM and has announced their final line-up of performers for their debut event.
The festival will be held at the Pinebank Field near Jamaica Pond, beside the intersection of Perkins Street and Jamaicaway in Boston. Google Map: http://bit.ly/qu2O3x
With car parking extremely limited, festival organizers encourage festivalgoers to carpool, walk, bike, or take mass transit ( http://mbta.com ): best options include the Orange Line’s Stonybrook stop or the number 39 bus, exiting at South Huntington Avenue at Perkins Street. Bike racks will also be provided.
Food will also be available for purchase at the event, with all proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston.
