Gansett Porter Wins A Silver Medal!

It comes with great pleasure that we announce more wins for Narragansett beer. We entered our Porter in the Beverage Testing Institute’s World Beer Championships this year and came out with big results. Porter brought home a silver medal and ranked higher than other porters like Sam Adams. Click here to see the full list. Here’s what they had to say about our porter.

Narragansett Brewing Company Porter.

Opaque brown with a lacy taupe head. Aggressively vegetal hop aromas reminiscent of sautéed radicchio, white asparagus, and bean dip with a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a very smooth, dark chocolate mousse, dark raisin toast, and grapefruit soufflé accented finish. Intriguingly hoppy and different.
