CEO of Narrangansett Beer Co. to speak at SNEEF's holiday event
"Have a Gansett!" will be the topic of the Southern New England Entrepreneurs Forum and holiday party from 5:30-8 p.m. on Dec. 9 at the Advanced Technology Manufacturing Center, 151 Martine Street, Fall River.
Mark Hellendrung, CEO of the Narragansett Beer Company, will update attendees on the rebirth of the Narragansett Beer Company, brewers of the venerable "Gansett" beer.
In 2005 when thriving manufacturer Nantucket Nectars moved to New York, Hellendrung who was CEO of Nantucket Nectars, decided to stay in New England and re-launch Narragansett Beer. Shortly after the re-launch, he addressed SNEEF and described what it took to accomplish the re-launch.
Hellendrung will speak at 6 p.m. on the current state of the relaunch of the Narragansett Beer Company and where he plans to take Narragansett in the future. His speech will be followed by networking and a holiday celebration.
