Weekend Recap: Gansetts For A Good Cause

Sweeney’s Package Store of Wakefield, RI held a tasting last Thursday to benefit the Volunteers Of South County. It was held at Amalfi Restaurant in the Narragansett Pier Marketplace. Narragansett beer was there with a table set-up pouring samples of our light and lager beers. Attendees were entering a raffle to win a Gansett Gear prize pack and signing our petition. Sweeney’s was also selling ties for $2 and donating the proceeds to the fund. All for a good cause.

One Enchanted Evening – A Toast To Our Children’s Tomorrow

Holy Trinity School of Fall River held a tasting of their own to help raise funds for the school. They are building a new playground for the students and we all know that isn’t cheap. They held it at Eagle Performing Arts Center in Fall River on Saturday night. There was food, a silent auction and of course plenty of Gansett. We had our very own table with both lager and light for everyone. We included a Gansett Gear gift bucket in the auction which went real quick. It was  a great evening with everyone doing their part to help.

Here’s the photo gallery from both events.
