This Weekend: Tony Jones’ Birthday Bash And Spring Fling
That cake almost looks too good to eat. Maybe we can drink it? That’s what Tony Jones would do. It’s his birthday this weekend and to celebrate he’s having one heck of a bash down at Blaze’s Billiards in West Warwick tomorrow night. Not only is his band Tony Jones & The Cretin 3 playing, but he’s donating the proceeds to the Amos House charity. What a heart of gold! Every year Tony holds a benefit concert for his birthday. This year he asked ‘Gansett to sponsor it and of course we would. His band has definitely done a fair share of drinking their part. So the ‘Gansett Girls will be there with some raffle prizes for people and of course plenty of cold tall boys to celebrate this joyous occasion. And if this line-up was not already intriguing, the legendary Jonee Earthquake Band will be there with special guests The Jackknife Beat and The Usual Suspects. All for just $5! Hosted by Chuckles The Clown and brought to you by 990 WBOB and Narragansett beer! Wow!
Join Narragansett beer for the annual Bacchanalia in Salem, MA tomorrow from 6 to 9 pm! A celebration of spring with culinary delights, fine wine and ‘Gansett beer, music and art! Food and wine/beer sampling included in ticket.
They’ll also have a fine selection of wines from around the world from Pamplemousse.
Food will be served by the best Salem restaurants including Capts, Finz, Sixty2 on the Wharf, Passage to India, Rockafellas, The Lobster Shanty, AJ King Artisan Bakers, Victoria Station, The Upper Crust Pizzeria and great coffee from Cafe Valverde! All attendees will receive a free collectable glass.
Favorite local band, Machine 475 will be performing live.
They’ll also have free chair massages provided by Living Well & Laura Lanes Skincare, readings with Lady June (for an extra fee) and lots of great art from local artists such as Jeff Bowie, Chris Dowgin, Sue Grillo, Sarah Ashodian, John Viens, Elise Mankes, Ken Goldstrom, Dirty Witch Soaps, Jack Walsh, & Scott Lanes.
You’ll meet familiar characters from myth and legend and enjoy the goddesses and nymphs that wander the “Garden of Earthly Delights.” Seek out The Oracle of Delphi to hear your fortune. Roman attire is encouraged! Great costumes available at Samantha’s just one block from the event!
