Weekend Recap: Concerts, Troy Brown, And Baseball Tavern

With the sun shinning we started the weekend off right at the Live at ALCO Summer Concert Series in Providence with music from The Agents. The ‘Gansetts were pouring and great food was provided by EVERYMAN RI Bistro. By the way, the batter used for their clamcakes contains Narragansett lager. The best combo of Rhode Island clamcakes with Rhode Island beer. The ‘Gansett Girls were present playing their new version of hopscotch for ‘Gansett Gear. Check out the video below.

After EVERYMAN, ‘Gansett Girl Heather headed over to Jerky’s Live Music Hall in Providence for the Graveyard BBQ show. “It was a blast. We had so much fun.” she said, “Just about everyone was drinking ‘Gansett and they were all great about signing the petition.” United BBQ was there cooking up great eats for everyone. Of course they washed it down with a nice ‘Gansett Tall Boy. Gut bucket headlined, while Tester and Vagora opened the show. Check out the video below.

Former wide-receiver for the New England Patriots, Troy Brown visited Warwick, RI this past week during three Narragansett beer tastings. He first stopped at Haxtons Tollgate on Thursday, August 6. Then on Saturday, August 8 he was at Peoples Liquor Warehouse of Apponaug and then I.M. Gan Discount Liquors. Tons of fans and Narragansett supporters came out to get an autograph and buy a case to “Drink Their Part.” ‘Gansett was on site with petition for everyone to sign. Between all three samplings, over 200 cases were sold to help us toward the 7.5 million goal. Keep it up and enjoy these photos from Haxtons.

‘Gansett Girls Tara and Jessica hit Boston, MA on Saturday for some delicious ‘Gansett drafts on top of the Baseball Tavern. It was one of the stops on the Supah Fans Dirty Water TV pub crawl. Plenty of patrons were drinking their part, signing the petition, and winning some ‘Gansett Gear. Check out the photos below.
