How filthy was Josh Beckett last night! Striking out ten over 7 innings of two-hit ball, the Rays were lucky to even hit it foul off him. Looks like he’s back to ’07 form!

On the offensive end, reigning MVP Dustin Pedroia hit a homer on the second pitch he saw this season. Tek added a solo shot (maybe he’s got something left in the tank after all). Bay, Drew, and Lowell each had an RBI each to round out the score.
